A Place To Turn for healthy food with dignity

Your food pantry that provides healthy, fresh food to the MetroWest community

The pantry will be closed from December 23rd through January 3rd.

We will reopen on Monday, January 6th at 4:00pm.

You should have the freedom to choose the right foods for your family.

And we know that food is more than just nutrition.  It is culinary traditions passed on through generations, comfort and a way to show we care for one another. The ability to cook foods we are personally connected to matters.

OUR PROGRAMS

Our food pantry means you can select the foods your family prefers so you can eat what you like.

We offer feminine hygiene products, personal care and household items to all those who need them.

We provide a week's worth of diapers each month, ensuring your child has the essentials they need.

Nobody in our community deserves to go hungry.

We are committed to serving all who come through the doors with dignity, equity and empathy.  We cannot do this without community support.  We depend on financial donations, food and diaper donations, and the many hours our amazing volunteers give to the mission.

Partner with us and together we can fill every table in our community with nutritious food.

  • Families sometimes need help.

“Without A Place To Turn there would have been many times when I would not have had enough money to feed my children. I struggle every day, but knowing there are supportive, caring people I can come to gives me hope to go on.“

  • People deserve to be treated with dignity.

“A Place to Turn deals with a diverse group of people and the food they provide is priceless. The staff is pleasant and they provide a great service. They make sure the family is fed.“

  • Kids should be fed.

“The extra food helps a lot. I have 2 kids who I send to school with snacks and lunch, so every little bit helps.”

  • Neighbors should help neighbors.

“Volunteering at A Place To Turn allows me to help my community in the most basic of ways. I have seen the relief on the faces of clients who leave our pantry with bags of groceries to feed their families.”

  • All mothers should have a helping hand.

“Sometimes my mom comes home from work late because she needs to work so much to support us, and she wouldn’t have the time to buy breakfast food. But that cabinet in the house with the extra food from A Place to Turn is like our emergency food.”
